Yesterday (2 Nov)was our bridal shoot at Loyal Bridal, Sunway. We reached there at 10am and the whole shoot finished about 8pm. I was exhausted. Over the next few days, I will feature some funny highlights of the event. Thanks to Chua, Chee Leong and Marcus who tagged along as our entourage.

We had a great time preparing ourselves with costumes and various outfits for the studio, outdoor and night shot. It was more tiring that playing Wii for 2 hours. I can’t believe I’ve survived this photo shoot that lasted 10 hours. WOW. Now I know how celebrities and Sports Illustrated models feel like.

Take note that this is the second bridal shoot we’ve done as the first was done in Ipoh, back in 2005. My wife loves taking photos and how many wedding couples get to do shoots twice in a lifetime. I need to rest my back now.

We’ve visited 2 wedding cake makers and 7 jewellery shops over the past 3 days to get the best deals. We have not chosen the final vendors yet but a video on this tiring decision is in the works.

Here’s a great Wordpress plugin by Alex Rabe to showcase pics in slideshow format in your posts or sidebar. I will try it out tonight - NextGEN Gallery .

To use the slideshow function, you need also the free (for personal use) JW Image Rotator from Jeroen Wijering. Download the player from the website and upload it (only imagerotator.swf) also into the NextGEN gallery folder.

My last and hopefully best plugin for WordPress is a new Gallery plugin called NextGEN Gallery . It’s named als “NextGeneration” according to the the development of the game consoles . More over it should indicate that I (try) to use all new possibilities of the great JQuery and the so called Web 2.0. Before I start writing the plugin I study all image and gallery plugins for WordPress, I figure out that some of them are really good and well designed, but I missed a simple and easy administration back end to handle multiple galleries.
