Looks like Asther Lau had a very bad experience with them….SEE BELOW We will never recommend Victoria Wedding Collection in SS2 to any couples who are looking to do their wedding shots. UNLESS they are willing to splurge their money unnecessarily. Come to think of it, they treated us the way they did MAYBE cos we didn’t want to get the bigger packages they offered. Heck… we’ve paid a total of RM1200 for only 10 poses with 2 poorly done frames! Later I found out that we could’ve employed a freelance photographer to do a 6hrs shoot with 300-400 poses in real high-resolution files with that amount of money spent! And each photos are retouched!
Luckily, the wedding shop we went to was a good one and so far, their service has been good. So I am happy to recommend LOYAL BRIDAL IN SUNWAY
I had fun doing the wedding photo shooting this time. My friends came and help us, and we have lots of crazy fun. I would say we had gotten a great deal from Loyal Bridal. However, it is not easy to choose the photos for the MAIN wedding album (limited to 20 photos).
You may have taken a lot of photos during the shoot and are never going to develop all of them (unless you are RICH ). I had to choose 20 out of 166 photos (about 12%).
Tips on choosing limited wedding photos: Create a folder and have all the (original) photos in them. Delete those photos that your don’t like, and minimize things to have the “actual” figure right.
Tips on choosing a wedding photos package:
I would like to share some tips on selecting the right wedding photo package since I had done it twice in my lifetime:
Get the whole picture of your wedding photos package. You may need to “ADD-ON” later in terms of number photos and $$$. Because you will love the photos you had taken after the make up.
Hidden cost behind the scenes! You may need to pay more $$$ for extra make up/makeover on the day when you have the photo shooting. I am SURE you are going to pay because you want to look extra good in those photos.
Free DVD or CD. The shooting package comes with a complementary photo slideshow CD/DVD BUT it is just a Slideshow. With some packages, you need to add more money to add in special video effects.
Therefore, while having your negotiation for the wedding photos package, GET the NETT price. It will be good if you can have all your soft copy of all the taken photos. Trust me! It is possible to get it; because I did it for my first wedding photos shoot in IPOH.
Am I getting it this time? The answer is….To save money, and go with your original package.
You may let your man to make the decision.
Leave all your credit cards at home.
Be firm! I know this is hard, but you must BE FIRM to stick at your original plan / budget.

I love Mandy Moore and I still remember the first movie I saw with Colbert is “A Walk to remember” by Mandy Moore as well. I cried when I watch that movie.. I guess that is the reason why I will marry him this coming December 2007. Of course, it is never easy to make a decision to be with someone for the rest of your life. The learning process never stops…. So, get yourself a copy of the movie and enjoy it!
Do couples still follow old wedding vows or new ones ? Old ones require the wife to follow the commands of the husband. This may sound like a caveman’s antic but there are still a lot of people who follow traditional views. What is your view ? Should wedding vows be changed in light of all the modern changes in the world ?
As with all wedding vows, old or new…..the main ones still say …..IN SICKNESS AND HEALTH, TILL DEATH DO US PART
As couples, there should be respect and honesty. Always keep the communications lines open and never let one person down just because their views are different.

But some couples like the idea of swearing allegiance, either in some words of their own choosing, or in the conventional form. And many, I suspect, don’t even think about it, and just repeat the vows as they are presented. As Meg pointed out, your vows can set the tone for your wedding, but they also set the tone for your marriage.

Just found this excellent video on choosing a Wedding Cake by videojug. Its so professional. Just make sure your bride does not grow fat from choosing so many cakes.
I will be picking up a wedding ring for Michelle tomorrow at Midvalley. Its a nice designed ring that we got from an outlet in The Gardens last week. It was perfect for our budget and it had a good colour and clarity. In fact, the outlet manager told me we could drop by the place once a year to check on the ring to see the rock still fits tightly.
Here’s some more good tips on how to take care your wedding ring, so that it will actually last a lifetime.
* Protect your setting: Even though it’s easy to forget about your diamond, and wear it casually doing any activity, it’s best to use a little common sense. It’s not so much the diamond you need to worry about as the setting. If you are careful to not wear your ring during certain activities; like gardening, playing sports, or other rough activities, your setting will stay in good shape, and you won’t run the risk of looking down at your hand to find your precious gem missing.
* Watch the Chemicals: There’s no way around it. You’re beautiful diamond is sure to get coated in different chemicals simply from day to day living. Household cleaners, hairspray, and even perspiration are impossible to avoid, and will eventually make your shiny ring dull, dull, dull. If you are sure to take your ring in for regular cleanings, you’re sure to keep your diamond brilliant and prismatic!
* Trust the Professionals: While you are probably able to clean your ring pretty well without help (see recipe below), it’s definitely best to keep up with your ring’s regular maintenance. This doesn’t just mean you should bring your ring in to be cleaned by jewelers (which you should); it means you should probably bring your ring into the jeweler for a yearly, or biyearly, checkup. Professional jewelers will be able to find any flaws in your rings prongs, which could save you the heartache of losing your timeless gem.
