Visiting our Wedding Venue in KL
19 Oct 2007
Met up with Andrew (marketing guy) and Maria (the owner). Saw the place was a bit small. They had a cool jazz club upstairs and they charge RM20 for entrance (no drinks).
We proceeded to see the 6 menus that Andrew printed out and decided to look at just Menu 3 and 4. It had the right combination of east and west flavour. Some soup, desserts, fruit punch and the cool signature starter.
Decided on Menu 4 as it suited out budget. Then we chat on about how to place the tables, having canopies on the outside, how many people could fit in for a sit down dinner. The 3 rooms on the ground fits about 150 people. Man, I am definitely going to have to cut down my guest list.
I was beginning to feel the ambience of the restaurant that was pretty homely and I loved it. They had a small function in another room and I saw a lot of foreigners there. They left via a side door which is discrete. Talked about the charges for beer, wine, liquor, PA system. I was shown some pictures of past receptions. Looking at the themes, I loved some of them and it fit well with what we had in mind.. So took everything we heard and headed home. It was time to sit down to cut the guest list, look at the menu and think of a budget to fit my small pocket.
630pm – Passed by another restaurant in KL (behind Avenue K near KLCC) but did not like the outside part. There was hardly any parking space and the parking inside had a dangerous slope. I had to drive my car narrowly pass a Mitsubishi Storm and its pretty scary.

Below : Free ample parking for the guest on that night. I like this place
